Savannah - Anthony Michael Heath, 56, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Savannah, son of Walter Joseph Jarvis, Jr. and Joan Cornell Jarvis. He was a graduate of Jenkins High School and at the age of 45 graduated with a double bachelor of fine arts from Savannah College of Art and Design in video production and historic preservation. Most recently, he was a contractor with Susie's Handymen. Mr. Heath served seven years in the Georgia Air National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Denny Jarvis.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Susan Gibson Heath; sons, William Alfred and Jared Matthew Heath all of Savannah; brothers, Joe Jarvis, III, Brooks Purvis, Bobby Jarvis, sisters, Carol Krepps, Anita Perkins and several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
